How do you succeed in your Sophomore year? Here are a few tips to move you to the head of the class:
- Continue to challenge yourself with math and science courses
- Explore healthcare classes offered at your local Career Technical Center
- Consult your guidance counselor about taking the PSAT in October. The PSAT is a preliminary test that will prepare you for the SAT Reasoning Test
- It’s never too early to start researching colleges universities of interest. Check out HOTT’s Places To Go to find which colleges offer healthcare programs
- Register for June SAT Subject Test. These are 1-hour exams testing you on academic subjects that you have already completed
- Make your summer productive – READ; Volunteer; find a summer job at a hospital or a healthcare facility in your area and apply the $$ to your college savings fund
