You are a FRESHMAN. You have choices... and lots of them. Now is the time to plan out your next 4-years of high school. Here are a few tips to get you started:

• Meet your High School Counselor
• Pick challenging courses in math
  • Algebra, Calculus, Geometry
• Science, Science and more Science
  • Biology, Chemistry, Physics
• Pick up a foreign langauge
  • Latin, Spanish
• Strengthen your vocabulary - READ!
• Start a portfolio
• If you haven't yet, start a college savings fund
• Volunteer in a healthcare organization
• Job shadow a healthcare professional
• Join HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America)
• Take HOTTs career assesment to determine where your healthcare interest may be the greatest

Think about it... You have to go to High School anyway, so you might as well... Make it count!
