Did you know that Washington has 10 Vocational Skills Centers throughout the state?
Vocational Skills Centers (part of Career and Technical Education) prepare students for high school demand, high wage jobs through applied learning classes. Students learn technical skills associated with the career, participate in industry sponsored internships and job shadows, with an emphasis on employability and job readiness.
Skills Centers are operated in collaboration with multiple area school districts and classes are on a block schedule. Students remain enrolled in their home high school where they complement their skill center class with academic coursework appropriate to their area of interest.
Take a peek to find out which center is closest to you and what they have to offer!
